VETAS by CANCIO, new dining tables for modern spaces – part 2
In an open floor plan, when it comes to dining tables, the best option is surely to choose a piece that seems like a natural extension of the living area. The new VETAS catalogue of CANCIO has some interesting proposals that will help you with the important task of creating the proper focal point in your contemporary dining space, either at home or in your restaurant. Let’s discover more about ECLIPSE, QUADRA and CONCEPT…
Coming in different options of finishes and sizes, the ECLIPSE, QUADRA and CONCEPT tables are the best choice for different needs and styles. While glass-top tables seem ideal for small studio apartments, as they are least visually cumbersome, the porcelain extending tables have proved perfect for modern uses when functionality and high-resistance is required. They are also unrivalled for people who play host on weekends and are in need of extra-space.
They all have something in common: an elegant minimalist design embellished by an attractive combination of beech wood and cutting-edge materials, which include gloss-and matt tempered glass, ceramic tops, high-pressure laminate, methacrylate and aluminium.
With an elegant, light design, ECLIPSE features slightly oblique wooden legs and a curved rectangle surface. Thanks to an integrated swiveling mechanism, which is very easy to operate, it can be extended on one side adding functionality and comfort of use. Versatility is ensured by the rich range of finish options: tops are available in tempered glossy or matt glass or ceramic, while legs can be chosen in natural wood (bleached wood, toasted wood, Canaletto walnut and truffle walnut) or lacquered (white, anthracite, and black) to suit the tops and the settings.
The existing range of ceramic finishes has been extended with new references that include: artic white, cement, basalt, iron corten, basalt beige and black. Choose the combination of basalt ceramic worktop and bleached wood legs to set an instant cool vibe, while the version that mix matt white glass worktops and Canaletto walnut legs is ideal for more refined ambiences.
The ECLIPSE family is complemented by a chair, which comes in two sizes, and a set of stools in different heights with footrests in epoxy painted steel. As for the tables, different finish configurations can be possible. Seats can be chosen veneered in natural wood, lacquered or upholstered with foam comfort vinyl fabrics (Kanon, Nobel, Square, Vector) in a rich range of trendy colours.
The ECLIPSE chair can also be used to complement the stream-lined, minimalist QUADRA table that comes in 6 different sizes and shares most of the finishes with ECLIPSE.
QUADRA is also available with a white laminate worktop that is perfect in combination with bleached wood legs and the FANTASY chair with the seat configured in white polycarbonate.
The new version of the CONCEPT table, already available in the CANCIO’s catalogue with a metal frame, is now presented with solid beech wood legs and a methacrylate frame. The extendable version features two roll-out extension leaves on one side.
It comes in combination with the CONCEPT chair, made of an epoxy painted steel frame and a seat shell veneered in natural wood.
Since its foundation in 1959, wood has played a key role in the production of CANCIO, being part of the DNA of the firm itself. Beech wood, in particular, comes from sustainable, managed European forests and is a basic component of the latest CANCIO’s product ranges.
