The Woody chair by ANDREU WORLD, in the highest cafe in Austria
What about sipping a hot cafe and enjoying an unrivalled view across the Alps from the highest cafe in Austria? Not bed, really. We tell you where: the amazing Cafe 3440 in the Pitz Valley, Austria. The eatery has been equipped with WOODY chairs, a fine design by Lievore Altherr Molina for ANDREU WORLD. Let’s discover more…
The WOODY chair collection, designed by Lievore Altherr Molina was chosen to equip the Cafe 3440 which is perched on top of the Pitztal glacier. At an altitude of more than 3.400 meters, the new cafe has breathtaking views over the Tyrol’s highest mountain, the Wildspitze, and the surrounding fifty 3000-metre peaks of the Pitztal.
The building features a unique elliptical shaped architecture with a panoramic sun deck to enjoy views. The free-floating terrace and panoramic seats behind the wide glass frontage offer seating for over 100 guests.
The WOODY chair provides the cafeteria with a warm natural atmosphere that invites to relax and unwind after a day on the ski slopes. The use of natural oak wood obtained from reforested areas, covered by the FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council) certification, ensures the respect of the Chain of Custody from the origin to the final product.
