To achieve this, their long-lasting collaboration with Italian designers Giancarlo Vegni & Gianfranco Gualtierotti has been crucial.
With a career full of important collaborations with top-notch brands, the two designers have developed for the Barcelona-based CASADESÚS some of its most iconic and successful seating collections. Among them, the latest MARLOW sofa range and the MEMORY collection, unveiled at the 2014 edition of I Saloni Milano.
The MARLOW sofa
The designers’ intention with the MARLOW sofa was to create a highly comfortable and versatile product aimed to make a grand statement in stylish ambiences. The seat consists of modular parts that can be combined to form different designs and adjust to different space configurations. The XXL version can reach a length of 6.46 meters over a one-piece structure made of a combination of wood and steel.
The chromed steel legs, set in from the corners, lift the frame from the ground, emphasizing its light appearance.
Elegance is accentuated by the fine capitonné upholstery in different colours and fabrics. To maximize comfort, MARLOW comes with a set of cushions that allow playing with seat depth.
The frill in the lower part of the MARLOW CLASS version provide the seat with an extra charming touch.
The MEMORY collection
Inspired by more classic designs, MEMORY is a smart collection of armchairs, sofas and poufs suitable for home and contract use. They are available with a low or a high backrest, with legs or swivel base. Feet can come in chromed steel, matt nickel or black graphite.
The structured is made of wood, covered with polyurethane foam with different densities and spongy silicone polyester fiber. Comfort is enhanced by seat cushions in high resilience polyurethane foam of different densities.
Upholsteries are fixed and can be chosen in different trendy colours, such as the bright grey, maroon and lemon. A combination of maroon and grey or maroon and lemon is the best to add impact and personality to your lounge.
