Although the residential building projects will remain the largest segment of the real estate sector in terms of projects to be completed by the end of 2013, new opportunities are emerging in the hospitality, educational and medical sectors.

Five countries of the MENA region –Morocco, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Turkey and Qatar- appear among the top 25 major buyers of Spain’s furniture. Last year, exports to Saudi Arabia and UAE, in particular, increased by +32.4% and 17.6% respectively and better results have been registered for the first two months of 2013: Saudi Arabia + 102.4%, Turkey + 37.1%, UAE + 36.4% and Kuwait + 453.2%.
