Design links between Spain and Russia are really strong, as Russians have always appreciated the excellence and the quality of the Spanish craftsmanship. And over the latest years those links have been reinforced by the growing presence of Spanish brands in the market and at main events, such as I Saloni Worldwide Moscow that this year celebrates its 12th edition from October 12 to 15. Launched in 2005, and since then held annually every October, I Saloni Worlwide Moscow has become a benchmark event for the home furnishing sector in the Russian market and the countries in its geopolitical basin. Exposure to Russian buyers is high, with more than 30,000 visitors every year, including trade operators, interior designers, press and the general audience.
This year, the CROCUS Expo will play host to more than 260 exhibitors, among them 20 Spain’s brands that will complete the rich offer on display with their latest amazing furnishing proposals. These will encompass lighting, wall clocks, bedroom furniture, dining and living room furniture, rugs, home-office, occasional and outdoor furniture, sofas and armchairs in classical and contemporary styles.

Made of solid American walnut, in combination with other noble materials, new pieces include the intriguing ISADORA chair, the SKELETON sofa, the CASIOPEA mirror and the stunning BALZAC sideboard. All of them wonderfully extravagant pieces aimed at enhancing a variety of interior décor styles.
Animal and retro-inspired prints, cool colours, warm wood hues, fine lacquers and eclectic inspirations fuse in the new PLUIE DE COULEURS catalogue of the Toledo-based LA EBANISTERIA. New items have been conceived to express new living concepts and bring to life every space, adding always sophistication and grand style.
The traditional style will be represented by VICENTE ZARAGOZÁ, PANAMAR and RIPERLAMP that will exhibit their latest collections for bedrooms, dining and living spaces.
VICENTE ZARAGOZÁ will wow visitors with unique masterworks that demonstrates the company’s manufacturing skills, such as the FLORENCIA bedroom that is hand-lacquered by expert artisans, with intriguing marble and brush effects and gold and silver leaf decorations.
Besides their bronze furniture collection, RIPERLAMP will also showcase the latest precious chandeliers and switches suitable for the residential and hospitality markets.
On the home furniture side, PANAMAR offers as usual the best relationship quality-price with the new models of high bookcases, TV stands, sideboards, dining sets, coffee tables, chairs and consoles finished in walnut. As a new launch, the firm will unveil in Moscow the new upholstered two-seater and the armchairs with white lacquered frame and golden detailing.
Classic and exclusive in their essence, the new collections of firms such as HURTADO, LLASS and LINEAS TALLER transpire a new character, less formal although deeply rooted in the tradition. HURTADO will unveil the latest pieces of the SOHO collection which fuse trendy materials such as the natural wood veneers, marbles, leather and brass. New launches include elegant sofa-beds with innovative opening systems and a new collection of fixed armchairs upholstered in attractive fabrics and lively colours.

Despite the economic slowdown and the decrease of imports due to the weak ruble, Russia remains an attractive market for the Spanish furniture companies for its dimension and strategic position.
