At ACTIU, a company specialized in the design and manufacturing of furniture for workspaces, they have been reflecting on this idea for many years. With a clear objective: people. With this in mind, ACTIU’s R&D department have developed SPINE, the new modular office model, adaptable to each space, to different needs and with connectivity completely hidden yet easily accessible. This solution allows endless possibilities of configuration, optimizing spaces and integrating cutting-edge technology into office furniture.
Based on four elements (desk, low and high filing cabinets and dividers), SPINE is structured as a ‘backbone’ in which different compositions are anchored. In this way, employing far less squared metres to place the work surface and storage, you get the same or better performance in space distribution.
A whole central structure, 100% adjustable to the tastes and the needs of the users, enables you to create all types of spaces: combinations of individual work areas, but also co-working spaces, where different dividers or high filing cabinets assure privacy and comfort.
SPINE presents a wide variety of filing cabinets: with sliding doors, drawers, open libraries, mixed solutions...and they can all be accessed by one or two sides. Optional pieces, such as the overhead storage, can be added at any time extending possibilities of configuration and allowing a totally customized design of your office environment.
In short, it is a sober and elegant solution that synthetizes, reducing and integrating elements and adjusting the workspace to the needs of the users.
