Spanish new designs to be unveiled at ICFF New York

The New York adventure of MUEBLE DE ESPAÑA hasn’t stopped yet. From the 19th to the 22nd of May a juicy bite of Spain will be in the Big Apple, at a few steps from Times Square, the hip hectic heart of New York. With the support of the Spanish Foreign Trade Office (ICEX), a group of 14 Spanish furnishing companies will be exhibiting at ICFF New York in the Interiors from Spain’s pavilion, hall 1C. Two of them, SANCAL and FAMA, are MUEBLE DE ESPAÑA’s members.

The International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF), that takes place in the Javits Center, is the perfect show venue for Spanish companies that want to present their latest collections to the Northern American market and get in touch with top US professionals and designers.

Among the Spanish exhibitors there will be SANCAL and FAMA, two really fresh and bright MUEBLE DE ESPAÑA’s brands, that were a great success in Milan, at I SALONI 2012.

In New York, as in the previous Hospitality & Design Las Vegas, SANCAL will put on display FLASH, a new collection signed by the best name of design: Karim Raschid, Luis Eslava, Rafa García and Juan Ibáñez.

The collection features FLOAT, the vibrant and multifunction sofa designed by the creative Karim Rashid. With its bright colours, this sofa is perfect for spacious spaces, such as contemporary lofts, as it can be used as a partition or just as a screen. Float components (arm, seat, back and headrest), as well as colours, can be chosen in different configurations. Two hangers can be added to the high back to transform the piece into an intriguing partition.

Have a look also at PARTY, the series of sofas and armchairs designed by Luis Eslava Studio. Modularity is brought to the extreme in PARTY, in order to meet the needs of modern daily life. Its colorful and comfy cushions can even be placed on the floor to create a seating place with variable heights, ideal for a party zone.
