Spanish luxury on exhibition: COLECCION ALEXANDRA at DECOREX 2015

Inspirational and distinguished as ever, DECOREX 2015 closed its door on 23rd September at the Syon Park, London, having staged an abundance of new products and emerging trends within the luxury design industry. Suggestive spaces, intriguing atmospheres and an overall sublime natural refinement exuded from the COLECCION ALEXANDRA’s stand at the latest edition of Decorex International, the long-lasting and prestigious show that celebrates haute décor, beautiful materials and outstanding craftsmanship.

The stand was divided in two main areas: the classic, which put on display the new additions to the HERITAGE catalogue; and the contemporary, with the latest pieces of the EMOTIONS line, a new proposal aimed at meeting the needs and aspirations of the modern cosmopolitan life.

In the classic section, COLECCION ALEXANDRA exhibited the new pieces of the ATHENEA collection, one of the most iconic of the Spanish brands, formerly introduced over 12 years ago. Pieces on display included a full living room and desk, which convey all the classical, refined essence of the brand. Here, the attention of visitors and professional was caught by the spectacular ALHAMBRA cabinet, a real handcrafted masterpiece embellished by fine marquetry and a hand-carved base finished with gold-leaf.

The new MASTER office furniture impressed the crowd with its smart lines, exquisite details and top-quality materials, we dare say a real master class in its genre. The collection includes also a full bedroom and an amazing dining room, all of them combining five different colours of crackle lacquers and engraved leathers.

Decorex, the longest-standing design and interior show during The London Design Festival, took place at the Syon Park, with Robert Adam’s Syon House providing an elegant backdrop to the event. Every year, approximately 400 international brands come together for Decorex, exhibiting the very best of the luxury furnishing industry as well as their bespoke services.
