The synergy among a passionate owner, the renowned architect Michael Patroni from Space Agencies and the interior designer Salvatore Fazzari has been fundamental to carry out the design of this stunning minimal, über cool house located in Claremont, a western suburb of Perth.
The clean and understated architectural lines of this minimal, modern house, which covers 500 smq spanned over 4 levels, were taken into great account by Salvatore Fazzari when he got down to work on the interior design of the house. The challenge was not to spoil the architectural concept that stays behind the project and that puts a lot of emphasis on strong, beautiful clean lines.
The outdoor space was particularly important in that regard. They wanted to complement the architecture by playing on the sensation of the white on white and the sense of calm and cleanliness created by the architectural elements that shape the house. Outdoor furniture with a clean, modern, Mediterranean edge was the best option to highlight those features and in this case the rest chairs and sun loungers created by A-cero y Jorge Pensi for VONDOM have helped to achieve the result.
A more playful feel is given by the ROSINANTE rocking horse by Eero Aarnio and the VLEK vase and the SURF lounger by Karim Rashid for VONDOM.
For the interior, and in particular for the living area, they opted for the warmer touch of natural wood. The contemporary furniture of PUNT, such as the BREDA armchairs by Borja Garcia and the STOCKHOLM unit by Mario Ruiz, and the stylish chairs and stools designed by Yonoh and Christophe Pillet for INCLASS have been combined with some classics of design in order to add further interest to the scheme.
Among the last ones, there are the BASKET chair by Nanna and Jørgen Ditzel (1950) re-edited by KETTAL and the attractive the CESTITA lamp by Miguel Mila (1962).
The TETRIS sofas and the DUNAS chairs of INCLASS bring extra comfort and style to bedrooms and small lounge areas.
All the décor, which include also pieces of Santa & Cole, Joquer, Nanimarquina, Joey and Marset, has been thought to create a perfect sync with the timeless concepts that inspire the architectural design of this stunning house.
