Spanish companies at Equip’Hotel 2012

The biannual Equip’Hotel, that take place at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles,  put in contact the most innovative hotel and restaurant suppliers with internationally renowned interior designers and buyers. This year, with innovation and creativity as keywords, the event attracted more than 160,000 visitors and 1,498 exhibitors.

Big name Spanish exhibitors this year included outdoor furniture brands GANDIA BLASCO, KETTAL and VONDOM and the seating company TAGAR.

GANDIA BLASCO showcased in Paris its latest proposals, such as its functional daybeds and sunloungers with reclining backrests, the stylish lounge chairs and sofas of the BIG and TROPEZ collections by Stefan Diez and other outdoor proposals of the stylish ATLANTIC and FLAT collections.

With a whole portfolio of collections developped together with leading designers such as Jasper Morrison, Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni and Hella Jongerius, the contract division of KETTAL  offers architects, interior designers and hoteliers a unique and exclusive project expertise. On display at Equip’hotel there where the intriguing KETTAL COTTAGE by Patricia Urquiola and the KETTAL PARKLIFE collection by Jasper Morrison.

Furniture company  TAGAR exhibited in Paris its innovative and colourful CINCOBYCINCO project, a set of 5 new chairs for public spaces created  by five Spain’s most renowned designers. Each line of chairs – GADEA, TANGO, UIT, SOO and MARIE – represents a specific decade from 1962 onwards.

On display also TAGAR's new proposals for nursery schools and geriatric hospitals.

VONDOM offers to its  customers  exclusive furnishing proposals in the most pure Mediterranean style, perfect to create stylish indoor and outdoor spaces. In its stand visitors could have a first-hand look at tables, chairs, sunlounger and lighting from its STONE, ADAN, MOMA, FAZ and VASES collections.

Among these news designs, there were also the eye-catching AGATHA collection by Agatha Ruiz de la Prada and the CHRISMY tree with internal light by Teresa Sapey.
