Spain at I Saloni Worldwide Moscow 2012 (Crocus)
Forty-two Spanish companies of the furnishing sector will be exhibiting its refined furnishing offer at the forthcoming edition of I Saloni Worlwide Moscow that will be held at Moscow’s Crocus Expo from 10th to 13th October. After the successful 2011 edition, which drew in 36,152 professionals (architects, interior designers, buyers, and general contractors, +15% on previous year), not just from Russia but increasingly from parts of the former Soviet Union, I Saloni WorldWide Moscow will be again Moscow’s prime attention this October.
A total of 516 exhibitors, coming from Italy, Spain, France, Germany and The Netherlands and ranged over 35% more net exhibition space than the previous edition, make of I Saloni WorldWide Moscow a benchmark for interior concepts.
Spain will be represented by a collective participation of 42 companies organized by ICEX, the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade. This year the array of made in Spain products on offer will be particularly varied, ranging from trend-setting and modern designs to classic furniture, from lighting and ceramic tiles to home textile and decorative accessories.

After having participating at major events, such as Mebel and Crocus exhibitions, and trade missions to major cities, Spain has consolidated its place as one of Russia’s main furniture supplier. During the first semester of 2012, exports of Spain’s products to Russia amounted to 20 million euros, registering a remarkable increase of +34% if compared to same period of 2011.
Spanish furniture is widely used by Russian interior designers who appreciate its high quality materials, precious finishes and charming lines. Mueble de España’s companies have worked on major projects, furnishing and decorating VIP’s private residences, hotels and public institutions.
