SANCAL took part in the furnishing of FACEBOOK headquarters in California, U.S.A.

Last December, Facebook main offices in United States moved from its previous base in Palo Alto to its new headquarters in Menlo Park (California). From then on, the lovely and comfortable TEA armchairs, designed by José Manuel Ferrero for SANCAL, have welcomed clients on their visit to the social networking giant.

The fast growth of this dynamic company has required not only an increase of the space at disposal of the staff but also a more flexible design of workplaces focused on teaming and informal interaction spaces. The final result has much of an informal anti-office look, a place more similar to a hotel or even a private place, where the employees and the clients can feel comfortable and release stress.

The project has been carried out by the prestigious Gensler studio that has chosen the TEA small armchairs of the Spanish SANCAL for the waiting areas of the building. The decoration of these zones is completed with other contemporary design products by Hermann Miller and Vitra.
