ONDARRETA and INCLASS feature on the Icon Product Year Book 2012
The Nordic inspired BOB chair, designed by Nadia Arratibel for ONDARRETA, and the sculptural WAYU, by Francesc Rifé for INCLASS, have been included among the best design products in the category of interior furnishings.
Designed by Nadia Arratibel, the stylish BOB chair has been launched this year in the international market at Maison & Objet in Paris. It comes in two versions, with a wood or steel frame, and its curved seats can be configured in a wide range of finishes and upholsteries.
For its Nordic minimalist design, BOB has been chosen, together with IESU and LOGO chairs, to furnish the dining room of the Basque Culinary Center, a new culinary school and research institute headed by the world-renowned Chef Ferran Adriá.
Minimalistic and timeless, WAYU has been designed by Francesc Rifé for INCLASS fusing together Japanese art and the letter Y. Its unique structure is manufactured using two steel plates which come in a white, black or stainless steel matt finish. It is also available in a upholstered version, with or without armrests.
Other Spanish brands featured on the ICON 2012 are Esquitino Martínez, Lladró, Luziferlamps and Roca.
The ICON PRODUCT YEARBOOK is published by Media 10 Ltd., a leading publishing and events company based in Loughton, Essex.
Its award-winning magazine portfolio includes ICON magazine, the leading international architecture and design magazine; GRAND DESIGNS, the magazine of the leading property programme on Channel 4 and ONOFFICE, the leading office design magazine, among many others.
