New at I SALONI MILANO 2014: KENDO, new small furniture that makes a big statement

Just because something is small, doesn't mean it's not important. Like the last touch to a canvas, KENDO’s 2014 occasional furniture collections are the perfect solution to add style and further interest to the most stylish, contemporary interior schemes. Keep on reading and get inspirations from NUC, CORT, MIR and STEP, the new models by Francesc Rifé, and BECO and CAMI, by Luis Arrivillaga…

The CAMI coffee table, a new creation by Luis Arrivillaga for KENDO

Occasional furniture is one of the most important elements in the interior decoration. They make the difference as they can work in an all-white, minimalist interior or bring an unexpected accent to a more traditional scheme. Having smaller, nimbler pieces at disposal is key as you can always rearrange them and experiment creating different spaces…

The new creations by the Spanish Francesc Rifé and the Guatemalan – but with a long training in Milan and London – Luis Arrivillaga offer all a beautiful design, great versatility and a lot of personalization. For home and contract use.

NUC  coffee tables by Francesc Rifé

NUC is a collection of coffee tables made of a walnut wooden (or oak) structure, a transparent glass top (15mm) and a base that can be in veneered MDF or transparent glass (15mm).

All the corners of the structure are joined together in a very original way, as they were held together by knots.

MIR mirror by Francesc Rifé

Functional, stylish and space-saving, the MIR is a versatile, space-saving mirror that can add deep and style to any room. It features a smoke grey mirror on the front, a lacquered frame and a little shelf available in walnut, oak or lacquer.

The panel under the shelf can be finished in walnut, oak, lacquer or just in smoke grey mirror. Available size:  75x16x175 cms

CORT occasional table by Francesc Rifé

Versatility and functionality at its best! CORT is a collection of occasional tables with one of their sides cut so that pieces can be  placed against a wall or they can be joined together in order to offer a bigger support platform.

Tops too come in different sizes with the bigger ones (Ø 80 cms) ideal for contract use and the smaller ones (Ø 45 and 60 cms) perfect for small spaces.
