Lightness and beauty are the keys to the new outdoor collections from MUSOLA and KETTAL

KETTAL embraces new uses with innovative designs

KETTAL takes another step forward in its strategy to design and market timeless, expressive and functional furniture that responds to new needs.

Thus was born VIMINI by Patricia Urquiola, which achieves a perfect blend of wicker and wood to convey the feeling of being at home even though you’re out of doors. The collection consists of tables, sofas and armchairs with a basket structure. The inner back support with large cushions, showing the side and rear view, gives it a modernist look. The braiding is traditional outdoor fibre.

Designed to generate outdoor spaces, KETTAL presents PAVILION H, its new range of very light structures that achieve their goal of integrating themselves into natural architectural environments, creating highly luminous open, covered areas. These elegant, aluminium pavilions are fully configurable and customizable. They consist of a minimum aluminium structure with varied range of options to select from as far as the ceiling is concerned, from wood to Venetian blinds or even electric bioclimatic, among others.

This timeless design opens the way to innovation, specifically in the collection of parasols that they have developed in collaboration with German designer Konstantin Grcic. METEO sunshade marks the evolution of contemporary parasols by creating a contemporary, comfortable product made with the smartest materials to achieve effective, long-lasting protection. Technology leads the way in this collection which, in addition to the basic model that features manual pulleys, also presents a high-range option with a built-in gas piston that makes it easy to open and close the parasol.

Aluminium and ceramics create the elegant environments of MUSOLA

MUSOLA, which launched its new catalogue recently, has chosen Cologne to showcase their new collections designed by Yonoh Studio, Santiago Sevillano and their very own Musola Design Team: CANASTA, NANSA and SALVIA.

SALVIA, conceived by the company’s creative team, combines in one and the same table a structure of stainless steel and aluminium with a ceramic table top, available in 24 sizes, both fixed and expandable.

In CANASTA, for its part, stainless steel joins forces with two upholstery options to accompany the intricate mesh that characterizes its structure, and to create a stool and a chair. A formal architecture complemented by cushions and upholstered seats to ensure user comfort during their leisure time, and that draws on Yonoh’s experience as a creative studio specializing in furniture.

The NANSA collection, by Valencian designer Santiago Sevillano, comprises chairs, armchairs, 2 and 3 seater sofas, cushions and auxiliary tables, all created from a 100% aluminium structure. This line shares with the previous ones its ceramic table surfaces and its upholstered, removable seats which feature top class fabrics from the Sunbrella brand, specifically designed for outdoor environments.
