GAN

The rug and textile brand of Spanish furniture company GANDIA BLASCO, the Valencia-based GAN has made a name of itself for its amazing hand-made rugs, all of them created by top-notch international designers. As the new SILAÏ, the new set of rugs, poufs and cushions created by Charlotte Lancelot for the GAN SPACES line.

Made of 100% New Zealand new wool with a PVA net base, SILAÏ gives a new life to the ancient hand embroidered techniques by playing with new uses and design concepts. The result is a romantic yet modern rug, incredibly weightless, that can be coordinated with other elements (cushions, poufs and wooden side tables) to complement the interior of residential, public or commercial spaces and provide them with a sense of continuity.

Made of jute, WATERKEYN, the other new launch of the brand, is a hand-knotted rug with fine geometric patterns that emerge and disappear intriguingly over the faded distressed surface. The rug is available in three sizes and two hues: aqua and terra.

Sober, timeless, the brand new NAGA rug is forever. Its geometric motif is a celebration of the plaited felt technique, 100% pure new wool in an eternal pattern that crosses cultural boundaries and fashion predilections. NAGA is available in two sizes (170 x 240 cm; 200 x 300 cm) in two colour versions, turquoise and blue.

PUNT

Founded in Valencia in 1980 by furniture designer Vicent Martinez, PUNT – a winner of the prestigious Spanish National Design Award – produces furniture pieces aimed at turning into future classics. With its unique combination of smartness, quality of design and ease, which is the hallmark of the brand, the company puts on display a complete furnishing offer for contemporary, functional spaces that includes pieces created by the most talented designers: the SLATS low sideboards by Marc Krusin; the MITIS tables by Mario Ruiz, with their solid appearance and the intriguing trestle-like grooved legs; the Scandi inspired BREDA collection with its timeless feel; and the stylish MAVA and WHISKEY chairs, respectively by Stephanie Jasny and Terence Woodgate.

In Cologne, PUNT will be presenting LITERATURA OPEN, a collection of mobile bookcases, sideboards and TV stands inspired by the classic and legendary “La Literatura” bookcase. In the new version, the volumes of the bookcases are transparent and even lighter, so that they can be complemented by storage units and be used as room partitions.

IMM will make an ideal backdrop for the launch of  STOCKHOLM MEDIA, which represents a natural evolution of the sophisticated collection of sideboards, consoles, shelves and tables created by Mario Ruiz for the brand and awarded with the coveted Red Dot Award 2015.
