IMM Cologne 2013: Spain’s cutting-edge designs in Hall 11 Pure

Imm Cologne is not only the first international industry show of the year but also, and above all, a place where new trends emerge and rapidly set the mood for next interior concepts. Spain won’t miss the opportunity to be present with its most forward-thinking brands and pioneering interiors concepts, all of them in such a hall as 11 (Pure) and in the sectors 3.1 (Pure Village) and 3.2 (Pure Editions). Let’s start from hall 11 Pure sector and from brands such as ANDREU WORLD, GRASSOLER, KETTAL and ONDARRETA CONTRACT…

ANDREU WORLD (Hall 11.2 – Stand L062)

The firm will double its presence exposing simultaneously at IMM and at Design Post, the permanent exhibition located a few steps from the fairground. The firm will showcase in Cologne its latest collections of seating – NEW BRANDY, NEW ROUND, FLEXA and SAIL – and the TAO table in new updated configurations and colours. Pieces are all signed by top-notch designers, such as Patricia Urquiola, Lievore Altherr Molina and Piergiorgio Cazzaniga.

The Outdoor collections will be also present at the Design Post, proposing a synthesis between the indoor and the outdoor life. Sofas like SIESTA will be combined with auxiliary tables featuring fine ceramic tops.

The stylish BRISA folding chairs and the WIND table with its natural colored ceramic top will be brought together to create an elegant spacious dining area.

GRASSOLER (Hall11.3 Stand T031)

GRASSOLER will bring to IMM Cologne its eco-friendly new proposal for lounge areas: the eco-chic BOOST armchair, a design of Jordi Milà inspired to organic shapes and made of 100% recyclable materials. Upholstered with an innovative high-resistant tridimensional 3D fabric (spacer) and with a light structure in aluminum and stainless steel, BOOST is functional and highly versatile at the same time.

On display also other GRASSOLER’s inspiring proposals for the most up-dated lounge spaces, such as the stylish ELDER sofa by Gabriel Teixidò.

KETTAL (Hall 11.2 Stand K031)

KETTAL will put on diplay at IMM its latest inspiring collections: the stylish PARK LIFE by Jasper Morrison and the attractive COTTAGE day-bed by Patricia Urquiola. PARK LIFE is a complete family of highly-resistant outdoor furniture that features a clean cut profile and can be configured to adjust different situations and ambiences.

Inspired to a streamlined architectural typology, COTTAGE is an amazing cabana-styled bed that comes in several colours and finish combinations to ensure the best outdoor experience.

ONDARRETA CONTRACT (Hall 1.1 Stand E039)

In Cologne ONDARRETA CONTRACT will unveil its latest design seating collections ALO, IESU, BOB, BOOMERANG and DON, an attractive contemporary offer that is suitable both for home and contract use. With its retro industrial look, the pieces of the DON range make it possible to create light, airy spaces that can adapt to the personality of its surroundings.

IESU, a design by Spanish architect Rafael Moneo, feature a straight lined structure in solid wood (beech, oak or specially treated for exteriors) that enhance its 100% natural and authentic style.
