A well-designed outdoor space can not only create a comfortable outdoor room but it also increases the feeling of spaciousness of the indoors by blurring the boundaries between inside and out. Spanish outdoor furniture manufacturers are real masters in creating product that add beauty, style and comfort to different types of outdoor areas, from gardens and pool areas to towering urban terraces.

CALMA – Hall 14 Stand C45

In Milan the Catalonia-based brand will wow visitors with new fresh proposals full of original and innovative ideas. Like OM, the brand new collection of sun shades that can easily adapt to every outdoor space and need. Thanks to a clever mechanical locking system, the horizontal opening of OM can be blocked at different angles so that the canopy can acquire different aesthetic configurations.

Among the new products on display, the will be also DORM, the 100% waterproof modular sofa upholstered in new weather-resistant Sunbrella fabrics; the NUA outdoor seating collection in new fabrics and colour configurations; and the eye-catching, intriguing PLIS PLAS chairs and stools.

GANDIA BLASCO – Hall 20 Stand B01 / C06

An international key player of the outdoor decoration, GANDIA BLASCO is back to Milan with a bunch of new launches and additions to previous collections. In TITUNA, the new collection of chairs, armchairs, rocking chairs, tables and poufs designed by Mariana Lerma for the brand, the woven fabric of the seat and back evoke the aesthetic of the traditional Spanish furniture which inspired the collection.

In contrast, its pure and elemental silhouette lends it a fresh and contemporary character, typical of the GANDIABLASCO collections.

JIAN, a creation by NERY&HU STUDIO, has been extended to include two new timeless designs: the HOODED sofa, with its clean-shaped canopy; and the JIAN terrace recliner.

A new line of stylish tables, modular sofas and high back armchairs has been added to the STACK outdoor stackable furniture collection, a design by Borja García inspired by the nautical world with elements that recall the ‘60s and ‘70s.

KETTAL – Hall 20 Stand E24

Strongly committed, since its beginnings in 1964, to innovation and design, the Catalonia-based KETTAL is a worldwide reference of interior & exterior décor.

In Milan, they will put on display a handpicked selection of their latest most successful collections, from the outdoor version of the BASKET chair, an iconic design by the Danish Nanna Ditzel made from artificial fibers and teak, to the new KETTAL BITTA tables by the Italian Rodolfo Dordoni, with waterproof TEAK (A-grade) tops, and the attractive side and coffee tables of the KETTAL MESH collection by Patricia Urquiola.

Among the new launches of top-notch designers, which will be unveiled for the first time at the fair, the new KETTAL MAIA ROPE collection, designed by Patricia Urquiola, is an evolution of the classic Kettal Maia. This version adds a light design and natural elegance, combining a hand-braided nautical rope with a new set of teak legs, providing energy and warmth.

POINT – Hall 6 Stand D41

With strong Mediterranean roots, POINT has extended its beautiful catalogue of outdoor furniture with new designers models enriched by new textures, colours and materials, such as the natural teak (A-grade), the Shintotex fibres in new colours and the weather –resistant fabrics (Sunbrella, Batyline, Serge Ferrari, Texyloop…). Among them, the new collection of the Spanish Francesc Rifé: ROUND, HAMP, PUL and the BUT chairs in both a combination lacquered aluminum and teak or only in lacquered aluminium.

Teak is also the great protagonist of ARC and LINEAL, the two new outdoor furniture collection designed by Gabriel Teixidó for the brand.

Indoor products include the new vintage line made of a combination of stainless steel, marrow and natural.

SKYLINE DESIGN – Hall 18 Stand B19

A worldwide key player in the hospitality sector, SKYLINE DESIGN unveils in Milan a new in-house designed collection: MALDIVES, which combines for the first time in a Skyline Design’s collection materials such as aluminium, wood and glass.

It consists of a dining table with a sturdy structure in polished aluminum and a white glass top, and a comfortable straight-lined chair made of polished aluminium with armrests in natural teak. Seats are filled with QDF (quick dry foam) of URECEL and come upholstered in Batyline and Serge Ferrari fabrics (ISO 5112).
