HURTADO exhibited its latest collections and new products at High Point 2015
It has been a busy year for Spanish furniture manufacturer HURTADO. After the successful participation at the Hábitat Valencia in February, they exhibited at main events in Europe and overseas: I Saloni Milano, I Saloni Moscow and the High Point Market. The fall edition of the US event, which took place in October 14 to 17, was a splendid occasion for HURTADO to showcase MON and to launch the first items of the new SOHO collection. Let curiosity guide your footsteps…
With its 1,500 sqm of exhibition space, the newly renovated HURTADO’s showroom in High Point (North Carolina), USA, was the perfect setting for the latest launches of the EVOLUTION line, a stylish furnishing offer that mixes all the refinement of traditional handcrafts and the smart, clean appeal of contemporary design.
Prominent interior designers and retailers made a stop at HURTADO’s showroom while scouting for new products and styles at the fall edition of High Point Market. Old clients took the opportunity to get updates about the most recent launches of the brand.
They all appreciated the brand new SOHO items that has been specifically designed to complement in an intriguing yet sophisticated way the MON ambiences. SOHO, of which HURTADO showcased a few elements as a preview, will be formally launched in 2016 at the Habitat Valencia and at I Saloni in Milan.
The new collection taps into new trends by adding marble, leather and brass as outstanding raw materials. As usual for HURTADO, the range of wood veneers is rich and includes walnut, maple, oak, mahogany, ash wood roots and rosewood. A choice of colour finishes (matt, satin, high gloss, lacquers) from the MON catalogue ensures a lot of personalization while offering designers several configurations from which to choose.
SOHO furniture on display at High Point included a selection of coffee tables, sideboards, dining tables and a sophisticated bar cabinet. Sideboards feature brass integrated pull handles that increase the aesthetic beauty of the furniture without being too ostentatious. All drawers are provided with push-to-open and soft-closing system.
The intersection of geometric planes accentuates the contemporary feel of tables, whose bases can come in wood, brass or stainless steel.
Marble tops accentuate the chic mood of spaces while converting furniture into a trendy, pretty cool item. They fit perfectly with pieces from the MON collection providing the right amount of sophistication.
A mix of style, craftsmanship and smart geometries that keep interior schemes elegant and cool… Stay tuned for more developments!
