As every year, the Salone del Mobile. Milano paves the way in furniture design, both from Italy and abroad, showcasing the innovations that will soon be shaping interiors across the globe. Now in its 57th edition, the six-day event keeps on championing culture, design and innovation in its various aspects all related with quality lifestyle and interior design. Collateral events include the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, which is held concomitantly with the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition, the biennial EuroCucina – flanked by the FTK event (Technology for the Kitchen) - and the International Bathroom Exhibition.
At the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, which covers a net exhibition space of 148,000 sqm, more than 1,300 exhibitors – more than a fifth of them coming from overseas – will be presenting their outstanding products and innovative furnishing solutions in three major style pavilions: Classic: Tradition in the Future, which draws on the values of tradition, craftsmanship and skills in the art of making furniture and objects in classic style; Design, focused on products that skilfully combine functionality and innovation while boasting a great sense of style; and xLux, the section devoted to the contemporary interpretation of luxury.
With an increasing number of exhibitors – this year, 56 companies over an exhibition space of approximately 6,800 sqm -, Spain has been representing over the last years the largest non-Italian contingent at the Salone. Year after year, internationally recognized Spanish brands have chosen the Milanese show and its parallel events to launch new products and present to sector professionals, designers, buyers and journalists their wide-ranging commercial offering.
The Salone, which is expected to attract more than 300,000 visitors from over 165 different countries, is indeed a great business opportunity for those Spanish brands that wish to meet high profile foreign professionals with solid buying power and establish new business relationships with key players in the global interior design industry.
As usual, Spanish brands feature an outstanding presence in all the three style sectors – Classic, xLux, Design- as well as in the EuroCucina and the International Bathroom Exhibition.
In the Classic and xLux halls, Spain’s leading national manufacturers and big names of the luxury sector, such as COLECCIÓN ALEXANDRA, SOHER, MARINER, TECNI NOVA, EPOCA, AMBOAN and GUADARTE will put on stage products that successfully combine innovative aesthetics with quality workmanship.
The offer of the Spanish design industry in the Design sector will be represented by upmarket labels like KETTAL, GANDÍA BLASCO, ANDREU WORLD, ARLEX, POINT, VICCARBE, SANCAL and CAPDELL which will attract visitors with new stunning proposals for stylish indoor and outdoor spaces.

With their refined designs and high-end functionalities, the kitchen furniture from MOBALCO, GAMA DÉCOR and MUEBLES DICA will stand out at the EuroCucina exhibition owing to the subtle elegance and exclusiveness of their latest kitchen systems. At the Salone Internazionale del Bagno, the tiles, wall coverings and bathroom furniture from Spanish brands such as APAVISA, CERAMICAS APARICI, INBANI DESIGN and COLECCIÓN ALEXANDRA will put the focus on a sector that has been gaining ground all over the world for the development of cutting-edge, high-performance products for bathrooms and wellness areas.
