A specialist in products for the contract, commercial and residential sectors, GARCIA REQUEJO was commissioned to design and develop bespoke lighting solutions for all the public areas in the  hotel, namely the hall, the waiting and relaxing areas, the corridors, the 8 first-class restaurants and the bars and cafés.

The firm has been able to break with the current trend for poor lit spaces, studying each ambience to set the necessary light and adjusting the Kelvin degrees to different environments. As a result, Paradisus Los Cayos Hotel is up today one of the best lit hotels signed by GARCIA REQUEJO that recently has developed lighting solutions for other five-star hotels in Cuba [Read more].

Staying true to their credo that a good luminaire resides in maintaining a perfect environment balance in each ambience, the firm has created lamps and pendant lights that subtly fuse aesthetics, technology and practicality.

Making a conceptual idea a reality is always a challenging task because you must take into account different aspects, like climatology and the space where the lamp will be placed. In this case, in the Caribbean area salinity and moisture are extreme, so choosing some types of materials is not recommended due to corrosion.

GARCIA REQUEJO’s product are unique, they rarely use the same piece in their projects. They are always interesting to look at, as well as scoring highly on technical performance and durability.
