Furniture from Spain on a trade mission to Morocco
Morocco is a major market for Spain’s furnishing companies, not only because is just on the other side of the Strait of Gibraltar, but also for its thriving business opportunities. The made in Spain furnishing and decorative offer is already highly appreciated by Moroccan specifiers and furniture dealers, but with this trade mission ANIEME, the Spanish Association of Furniture Manufacturers and Exporters, aims to target and scout new export opportunities for the Spanish furniture industry. In the framework of its Promotion Plan for 2013, ANIEME, in collaboration with ICEX, The Spanish Foreign trade Institute, has organized a trade mission that will be visiting Casablanca and Rabat in February 24 to 28.
The Spanish offer to be presented in Morocco to local buyers and specifiers will be different in products and styles, including from outdoor furniture to office furniture, seating, decorative accessories and integrated furnishing proposals.

Morocco ranks now 6º among Spain’s main destination markets for furniture exports. With exports worth 45.3 million euros, sales of furniture to Morocco represents a share of 3.3% of the total.
Good business opportunities have been identified in the contract sector, particularly in the hospitality and residential segments where Spanish companies are already active supplying bespoke furniture or working on turn-key projects.
