EspritMeuble 2017: a taste of Spain in Paris

Since its first edition in 2012, the main objective of ESPRITMEUBLE has been to promote business developments within the furniture sector by bringing together exhibitors, retailers and distributors in a friendly, stimulating and qualitative atmosphere.

Today in its 6th edition the fair, which will be held from the 2nd to the 5th  December at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles in Paris, will host 300 national and international exhibitors with a huge array of furniture collections and sleep products.

FAMA. Calessi modular sofa

Over the latest years, the fair has consolidated itself as one of the most thriving European events of the furniture industry capable of attracting more than 10,000 visitors, 18% from abroad, according to last year’s report. The profile of professionals is quite diversified, including distributors, retailers, franchisees, buyer groups, journalists from the lifestyle and decoration press, opinion leaders, etc.

DUPEN - DUGAR HOME. Manhattan living room & dining room furniture

Almost half of the exhibitors (44,6%) are international brands mainly from Italy, Spain, Portugal and Belgium. Accounting for 35% of total brands, furniture is the most represented sector, followed by sofas (20%) and sleep products (28%).

ACOMODEL. Telma sofas

As a professional platform for the medium and medium-high furniture range, ESPRITMEUBLE proves the right showcase for those Spanish brands that wish to present their new 2017 collections or anticipate 2018 launches. The fair is also an unparalleled opportunity for meeting clients, get the feedback of the market and start new collaborations in a friendly atmosphere and in a sharing context.

DISCALSA. ORIO ceramic top table

The interest of the Spanish companies for the French market can be easily explained, as year by year France maintains its top position in the rank of main markets for the Spanish furniture industry. In the first 2017 semester, exports to France amounted to 272 million euros, which accounted for 25.9% of the total with a year-on-year increase of +0.8%.

France is, therefore, a fundamental partner for the Spanish furniture industry and the participation at fairs is part of the promotion strategy that aims at consolidating the market share and establishing new collaborations and business relationships.

MOBLIBERICA. Köln ceramic top table and chairs

Exhibiting over a total surface of 2,189 sqm, the Spanish contingent – organized by Anieme (Spanish National Association of Furniture Manufacturers & Exporters) – is formed by 18 companies that will be exhibiting in pavilions 7.1 and 7.2.

ECUS. Senttix Collection. Gea Mare bed & mattress

The offer is quite powerful and includes an extended array of quality contemporary products: home furniture, sofas, armchairs, chairs, ceramic top tables, kids’ furniture, bedrooms, innovative mattresses and sleep products, bedding, textiles, and furnishing accessories.

KARIBIAN DESCANSO. Rituals mattress

Featuring elegant designs and high-quality materials and finishes, all the products on display keep up with contemporary trends in terms of aesthetic, materials and functionalities. In the Spain’s stands, professionals can easily source furniture for almost all the rooms at home; on the other hand, most of the products are also aimed at the contract sector and provide innovative, highly customizable solutions for guest rooms, dining spaces and lounges in hotels and restaurants.

With so much on offer, we invite you to note down Furniture from Spain on your agenda and pay a visit to the Spanish stands. You will surely discover new things, compare, enrich your range of products and services, and leave with the certainty of having found the best for your business. On se voit à Paris, donc…
