The current family-run ACOMODEL, which was refounded in 1998, benefited from the experience and know-how of the former company (named Comercial Fercancar SL), originally set up at the end of the 80s.

This new company soon incorporated the latest technologies in cutting, manufacturing, packaging, and other issues related to production processes. Yesterday as today, their strongest commitment is to provide clients with the highest quality available in the market. To ensure the originality and the functionality of models, they have patented most of them, getting also the exclusive trademark.

Besides the fixed sofas, ACOMODEL offers a wide range of manual and electrical relax mechanisms that allow to transform the sofa and adapt it to the users’ needs and space. There are models with sliding seats and backrest, with sliding chest and reclining backrest, with reclining backrest and extendable footrest etc. New systems include the exclusive ADESS electrical mechanism and the recent DUETTO, that will be unveiled at EspritMeuble. It consists of an electrical sliding chaise longue that easily converts into a comfy additional seat with backrest or a single bed with storage option. Arms too can be converted into side tables, laptop desk o simply into a spare seat.

LOFT sofa

Made of a pine wood structure and upholstered with polyurethane foam, the LOFT sofa provides comfortable armrests and cushions. It is perfectly complemented by the OLIV armchair, that features a swivel base in chromed metal and tables with different textures, designed by Amparo Muñoz, Acomodel’s designer. LOFT, as the other models of the catalogue, is available in a wide variety of high quality fabrics.

HABITAT sofa

The key benefit of a modular sofa is the ability to tailor its components to a range of spaces. The deep seat and straight lines of HABITAT accentuate its contemporary design, while you can mix and match modules and fabrics to create a piece truly unique to you. Folding headrests and padded backrest maximize comfort.

The collection includes also a storage unit that can turn into a spare seat or a pouf while the arm can be converted into an upholstered bedside table with metal legs. The sofa is provided with manual sliding system, while the chaise longue can be chosen with sliding chest or Duetto system.

UPPER sofa

A simple mid-century inspired sofa, with a chaise end for lounging. UPPER features clean lines and minimal styling, leaving room for you to customize as you wish in one of ACOMODEL’s gorgeous fabric options. Legs come in lacquered wood.

Available with manual sliding mechanism.

IMPALA sofa

Completely comfortable and casual in style for entertaining. IMPALA is a contemporary corner sofa with adjustable headrests and convertible elements for ultimate comfort and functionality.

The chaise longue is provided with the Duetto system, but the sofa can come also with a sliding chest unit.

Legs are in chromed metal.

GLISS sofa

A super comfy modular sofa with padded backrest and convertible arms. Complete and flexible comfort with a combination of high quality sofa fills, relatively deep sofa base and sliding mechanism (sliding chest, Duetto or Adess). With chromed legs.
