EquipHotel 2022. A new, exciting edition for Spanish hospitality furniture brands

Held every two years at Porte de Versailles, the EquipHotel is back again in November, from the 6th to the 10th. As a catalyst for business and innovation, this leading trade show for the hospitality industry brings together more than 1,200 suppliers from 41 countries and around 113,000 professionals of the HoReCa sector, including interior designers, decision-makers, specifiers, and influencers from 144 countries.

Taking place less than 3 hours away from all European capitals, the five-day event is a source of inspiration for the entire sector offering concrete and practical solutions for hotel, restaurant, and contract projects. Professionals can have a first-hand look at new products, discover the latest trends and innovations, while living new experiences and establish new business contacts.

The Good Time Hotel, Miami, U.S.A. | KETTAL

For this latest edition, EquipHotel is focusing on conscious hospitality. Driven by a booming market, besides just providing food and accommodation, hotels and restaurants are becoming places for all-around experiences, where people can have fun, work, create, relax, and – why not? - immerse themselves in a different culture or nature. People are also looking for more environmentally friendly dynamics. Local food and activities, slow tech and slow living, energy saving, and soft mobility approaches are new assets for establishments where the Guest Experience is everything.

Q Dreams Hotel, show hotel suite | DRESSY

The Spanish furniture industry has reacted to these trends, adapting their production for the hospitality sector and showing agility, skill, and flexibility to better meet the demand of customers with different profiles and needs.

At the EquipHotel 2022, Spain will be represented by a large contingent of companies present in all the 4 main theme sectors: Foodservice, Design, Well-Being and Technology & Services. The brands of Furniture from Spain will concentrate in the Design sector (pav. 7.2) where they will display an array of products and interior design solutions aimed at turning hotels and restaurants into places for living, connecting, and enjoying inspirational experiences.

Posh Hotel, Split, Croatia | VONDOM

Setting a warm, homely feel in hotels and restaurants is a big trend of the moment. Everything from natural materials, or the addition of vintage looking pieces of furniture to an otherwise sleek, modernist-inspired décor can serve the purpose of making hotels feel more personal and welcoming. The interior solutions for guest rooms offered by brands such as MOBLIBERICA, DRESSY, VOOLCAN, VICALHOME and KAVE HOME combine the best craftsmanship with innovation to create spaces that promote a kind of contemporary luxury based on the beauty of tradition, good designs, and comfort. They also have worked on flexible and versatile solutions to make common spaces and lobbies even more welcoming and engaging for guests.

Ocean Riviera Paradise Hotel, Playa del Camen, Mexico | VOOLCAN

On the other hand, removing the boundaries between outdoors and indoors to integrate the two spaces can be a great option. If done smartly, bringing the indoor comfort to the outdoors provide additional space to enjoy and creates positive feeling for customers. Spain’s leading outdoor furniture companies – VONDOM, KETTAL, EZPELETA, iSiMAR, SKYLINE, MUSOLA and RESOL - have come out with products which are not only attractive, but also sustainable, versatile, comfortable, ease of use (and to maintain!).

Lithi Luxury Retreat, Imerovigli, Santorini, Greece | iSiMAR

Finally, wellness and health are other big issues when designing spaces that provide guests with new sensations and a break from big city routine. The germicidal lamps from GARCIA REQUEJO, the anti-pollution parasols from EZPELETA or the advanced mattresses from KHAMA HOTEL by Ecus help guests focus on caring for their spirits and bodies.

Bierwinkel Experience, Valencia, Spain | RESOL

This year, at EquipHotel, meet Spain, find solutions!
