MUEBLE DE ESPANA on a trade mission to Qatar and Saudi Arabia
Eight Spanish companies, with the support of the Spanish Association of Furniture Manufacturers and Exporters (ANIEME) and the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX), are visiting Qatar and Saudi Arabia in order to source new business opportunities in Doha, Riyadh and Jeddah.
With a diverse furnishing and decorative offer, both in classic and avant-garde style, the 8 brands participating in the mission will be presenting to the local market the variety and excellence of MUEBLE DE ESPAÑA:
Main objective of the trade mission, that will end on Tuesday 22nd , is to promote business contacts with local importers and specifiers and strengthen the presence of Spanish furniture in the Qatar and Saudi Arabian contract market.
In recent years, ANIEME has been examining closely the furniture sector in the Gulf countries, drawing the conclusion that both the spending in furnishing products and the imports are significantly increasing. As a matter of fact, both countries are developing important urban and construction programmes that will bring to a significant increase of medium and large scale equipment projects in different sectors: residential , corporative, commercial, luxury hospitality, health, education…
Surveys carried out by ANIEME highlight the big short- and medium term trade opportunities for Spanish contract-oriented companies specialized in the medium and high-end furnishing market. To help firms reach and boost their exports to the Gulf markets, the association has designed a specific promotional project for Middle East that includes B2B, market research, participation at fairs and inward missions.
