Five MUEBLE DE ESPANA’s brands on display at Hospitality Design Las Vegas

Eighteen Spanish furnishing brands exhibited at the prestigious Hospitality Design trade show, that ran from 15 to 17 May. Five of them were brands of MUEBLE DE ESPAÑA: Expormim, Kettal, Point, Skyline Design and Vondom. Take a look inside and get more information…

Established in 1992, HD Expo is the premier trade show for the hospitality design industry bringing together over 900 exhibitors and over 7,000 attendees to Las Vegas each May. Presented by Hospitality Design magazine, the show is at the forefront of offering the newest and most innovative products and services, encouraging and sharing ideas, providing inspiration and connecting the industry.

The trade show is an ideal business platform for those Spanish companies that are working in the contract sector and want to strengthen their presence in the United States. Spain’s design is more and more appreciated by the US consumers and specifiers as export figures reveal: in 2012, the furniture sales to U.S.A. amounted to more than 40 million euros and the Northern American country ranked 8^th among Spain’s main partners. Spain’s tiles are doing even better, with sales worth more than 80 million euros and the U.S.A. ranking 7^th among Spain’s top clients.

EXPORMIM

The Spanish firm exhibited in Las Vegas its 2013 new launches such as the RADIAL, COPA and SLIM seating collections and the CAFÉ coffee table.

On display there were also the amazing NAUTICA swinging chair, the NIDO seating collection and the FONTAL chair.

KETTAL

KETTAL showcased at HD its new successful collections, designed by Jasper Morrison and launched in Milan, at I SALONI 2013: the light structured KETTAL VILLAGE chair, an option suitable for all outdoor places, from the village house to the grand café, and the folding version of KETTAL PARK LIFE chair.

POINT

The new launches of POINT will sure captivate US customers for their comfort and aesthetics. JAPAN, ICPALLI, PIÑATA and CALETTA, the new lines of seating, dining sets, sun loungers, lighting and accessories that Estudi Hac, Joaquín Homs and Esther Campos have designed for POINT suggest ethnic attractive hints, intriguing projections of lights and shadows, elaborate stamps, geometrical shapes and slim designs. SKYLINE DESIGN

After IFFINA Jakarta and High Point Market in North Caroline, the Spanish firm showcased in Las Vegas its new LIFESTYLE collections designed by renowned Dann Foley. Inspired by the stylish outdoor lifestyle of Southern California, the collection evokes the best of the “Old Hollywood” style but with a 21^st century perspective.

On display pieces such as the Grand Pedestal, the Palisades bench, and the Hollywood sectional in combination with Santa Monica coffee table.

With a deep seat, high back and a scalloped arm to make it even comfortable for lounging, the Handcock Park chair is perfect for balcony living.

VONDOM

VONDOM captivated once more visitors with a selection of its latest proposals for stylish outdoor living. On display there were successful design products such as the SABINAS outdoor seating by Javier Mariscal, the FRAME collection and smart FAZ daybed by Ramón Esteve, the ADAM vases by Teresa Sapey.

Among new launches the beautiful F3 collection by famous Italian designer Fabio Novembre, a perfect combination of aesthetic and function, the Guadí-esque BIOPHILIA tables and chairs and an intriguing collection of outdoor rugs with suggestive great effects…
