Since its first successful participation at CIFF trade fair in Guangzhou in 2009, the presence of ECUS in the Chinese market has grown considerably and now boasts a network of 60 exclusive sales points all around the country. In collaboration with a local partner, the brand has developed products that meet local demands and tastes. In this way, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangdong, Wuhan, among many others, host the first ECUS Kids showrooms specialized in multi-stage mattresses for children as well as distribution points for the most exclusive ECUS’s products.

ECUS's hospitality project

As an emerging market, Brazil offers a lot of opportunities for European furnishing companies. In view of the next FIFA World Football Cup to be held in 2014 and the OlympicGames of 2016, Rio de Janeiro will increase its accommodation capacity up to 10,000 new hotel rooms, while 6 cruise ships will offer 8,500 further places. A new Olympic Town will be built to host 17,000 people.

China and Brazil are not the only challenge for the Spanish ECUS. The company is also establishing partnerships in Colombia and Mexico in order to distribute its products in these countries and has exported its products to hotels around the world. The company also has a strong presence in France.

As a part of its business strategy focused on research, development and innovation (R&I&D), the company was the first in its sector to obtain the dual certificates of ISO 9001 for Total Quality Management and ISO 14001 for environmental concern.
