The Compasso d’Oro Awards have been granted since 1954 by the ADI Society of Industrial Italian Design and they constitute the highest acknowledgment that can be awarded in Italy to a product, a design, to the results of a research or to a career.

From now on, SAIL will form part of the "La Collezione Storica" of the Associazione per il Disegno Industriale (ADI).

The jury acknowledged the functionality, quality and innovation of the SAIL chair's design. Like a sail, this chair adapts its shapes to the human body in order to offer maximum comfort and lightness. It comes in a wide range of attractive and modern colors.

Technology is pushed to the extreme to obtain a product that is light, sturdy and beautiful at the same time.

The SAIL collection has been conceived under environment friendly criteria and 100% recycled materials are used for its manufacturing process. In addition to this award, the Sail Collection was also granted the "Red Dot Award 2012" and the "Best of NeoCon" (U.S.A.) 2011.
