Andreu World opens its new flagship store in New York

On September 27th, Andreu World inaugurated its second US showrooms in New York. The new space is located in the iconic New York Design Center, one of the focal points for design in the housing sector in the city. Have a look at it…

Representing classic creations as well as avant-garde contemporary innovations, the renowned NYDC houses nearly 100 showrooms of more than 500 lines of fine, traditional, contemporary, residential and contract furniture, as well as decorative accessory resources.

The new space of Andreu World is based on creating a living space that transmits the image of the Spanish brand, while generating a showcase for Andreu World’s new products and the designs by Patricia Urquiola, Piergiorgio Cazzaniga and Lievore Altherr Molina.

The showroom puts on display new collections of chairs and tables designed for the home as well as the segments of corporate-office, contract and outdoor. For these purposes, the space is divided into zones that provide different settings to show the various use of each piece.

With the support of the Interior Design Magazine, which reported about the event, the new opening was celebrated with a “Spanish Party” featuring a tasting of Spain’s typical food and wines as well as a live guitar and flamenco performace.

The Valencia, Spain-based Andreu World, founded in 1955, is best known for its contemporay contract seating and tables on view also in its first US showroom located in the Chicago’s Merchandise Mart.
