ACTIU presented at the NeoCon its new collections for contemporary workspaces and the new brand ACTIU UNLIMITED

For three days, from June 10^th to the 12^th, on the seventh floor of The Mart building in Chicago, at the NeoCon 2019, ACTIU presented its new, innovative office furniture collections focused on the well-being of people, both in workspaces and in contract facilities. The company received a great response from the commercial design community who was very interested in ACTIU’s new solutions for contemporary work environments and was eager to learn more about its Cool Working® philosophy.

“We crossed the Atlantic Ocean more than 25 years ago to penetrate the Latin American market, with which we share language and culture. Now it’s time to do the same with its North American neighbours. It is a great challenge for us with which we hope to contribute all our knowledge in designing products with a Mediterranean essence, our production values, European design and the new trends in finishes and materials that turn furniture into a well-being tool“, explained the Consultant and Brand Reputation Director at ACTIU, Soledat Berbegal.

The selection of collections presented in Chicago included the latest trends in elevating desks –TALENT and POWER-, the iconic BADMINTON armchair, the TNK FLEX, TNK 500 and TRIM operating chairs, the NOOM and BEND lounge seating families, the meeting chairs WING, WHASS and UMA, the TABULA multipurpose tables, the BLOCK cabinets, the PRISMA and ARKITEK tables, and the LONGO system, which combines solutions to create spaces within a wider work area.

ACTIU presented also ACTIU NEXT, a technological solution based on intelligent IOT sensors integrated in the furniture through an App. This innovative device enables users to monitor and collect information saved in the Cloud, like the status and use of the workspace.

The company organized also “Hello Future! Innovations and International Successes made in Spain”, the presentation event of the new brand ACTIU UNLIMITED, which was attended by around a hundred people.

Focused on avant-garde design and innovation, the new brand encompasses the KARBON chair, a highly resistant and extremely light chair that is the result of two years of collaboration with the design studio ITEM designworks and that has recently been awarded the Red Dot Product Design 2019. Its clever design combines carbon fiber’s resistance with an exclusive, elegant -almost timeless- aesthetics.

“With KARBON we have succeeded in challenging ourselves breaking our limits as manufacturing company” explained Berbegal. “The result, designed by ITEM designworks, is a project that has paved the way for a new phase at ACTIU, with which we take the risk of leaving our comfort zone by creating highly-innovative products. These products will be at the core of the ACTIU UNLIMITED project”.
