The Catalan government’s new administrative complex has been designed to provide high quality workspaces with state-of-the-art architecture. It is the largest WELL-certified office building in Europe. This certification measures and certifies the characteristics of the built environment that affect health and well-being, through air, water, nutrition, light, comfort and mind. The integration of plants in this project was essential as they are recognised for their effectiveness in renewing the air and their positive effects on people’s moods.

For this reason, and thanks to HOBBY FLOWER, more than 1,500 pots from its BASIC collection have been installed throughout the Generalitat de Catalunya campus. Planters integrated into the furniture to delimit the open-space offices. There are also planters in the cafeteria and outdoors.
