Since its founding in 1960, Expormim has never stopped trusting the craftsmen who continue to transmit their knowledge from generation to generation. From the bending and hand sanding of rattan rods to the assembly of each component, everything takes place under the watchful eye of craftsmen. Their skills and know-how, acquired after years dedicated to this noble profession, are undoubtedly our greatest secret to keep producing quality furniture, unique and exclusive. Already three family generations have been managing the company. To the creative and enterprising character of its founder were subsequently added the investigative and innovative eagerness of his son and the will of modernization, change and commitment to the future of his grandchildren, currently at the helm of Expormim. Thus, 55 years after it was founded, Expormim keeps to path with an increasingly steady step. The enhancement of rattan, key element in the creative process of Expormim’s beautiful designer pieces, is largely responsible of the success of its collections, which counted with the collaboration of renowned architects such as Oscar Tusquets Blanca and Benedetta Tagliabue. To their names, those of other no less prestigious designers must be added, like Jaime Hayon or more recently, Mario Ruiz or Manel Molina. Over time, Expormim has specialized in the commercialisation of furniture, both for indoor and outdoor spaces, and not only for the residential sector, but also for hospitality home and abroad. This way the company preserves and emphasizes that export orientation that defined it since its inception. This is how more than half a century went by always devoted to an art: the manufacturing of top quality furniture, with an attractive and functional design, resistant to the passage of time and ephemeral trends.
