STIR chair, designed by Kazuko Okamoto, the inspiration behind the concept stems from the Okiagari Koboshi, a traditional Japanese paper-mâché doll known for its ability to sway yet always return to its original form due to its balanced center of gravity. The STIR chair, crafted from lightweight laminated beech, embodies a sense of lightness and comfort. Its sleek lines create an ethereal and minimalist aesthetic, accentuated by a wooden base that forms symmetrical semicircles on both the legs and arms. This collection comprises chairs and armchairs featuring a solid oak structure with upholstered seats and backs.
