Beaktor is a workspace created for a new era to help people and organisations transition to an inspiring and sustainable remote working experience, from home or anywhere. It was developed from the idea of creating a new typology that did not exist before the COVID19 pandemic, aimed at protecting health, promoting well-being, and restoring work-life balance.
Its design prioritises on simplicity, integration, and experience, from packaging to installation to day-to-day use. Its built comes from natural and environmental-friendly materials, and ultra high quality components, that ensure a long life cycle and deliver a consistent and professional-grade product.
Its industrial design is based on two elements: the frame, comprised of a thick ash wood, and a flip-down central unit that reveals a work surface, and acoustic pegboard panel, and storage compartment.
Beaktor is designed to optimise space, comply with office standards, as well as blend in with any home or confined space. Every Beaktor includes up to three types of lighting, USB ports, power sockets, and an original kit of accessories that allow users to position their second screens, laptops, and smart devices at eye level, making it truly ergonomic while keeping everything tidy.
Beaktor comes in a range of colours that positively influence mood and reduce eye strain. It is also compatible with BeakArt, a magnetic surface that can be easily applied to any Beaktor, transforming it into an art piece or decorative addition.
The Beaktor brand is inspired by the pelican and its beak. A full beak is an indication of unexpected abundance coming your way. We believe that by embracing this spirit, the pelican reminds us to look at ourselves as part of the whole, and that we thrive better when we work together.
