ACTIU expands its collections with its new URBAN chair

URBAN, the new line of chairs for public spaces designed by Javier Cuñado for the Spanish brand ACTIU, features an open architecture design concept that allows multiple configurations. Specifically designed to meet the demand of the contract and office furniture market, the URBAN collection includes a whole range of chairs suitable to be used in conference, meeting and training rooms.

RAGA unveils its latest collections in Peru, at the V Lima store

Upholstered furniture RAGA is strengthening its presence in the South American market with a new showspace in Lima, Peru. The Spanish firm has just started a new collaboration with the V LIMA showroom, located in the classy neighborhood of Miraflores. V LIMA is an exclusive store dedicated to European high-end decoration and furnishing products.

Great success of the Mueble de España’s master-class event in Volgograd, Russia

On 21st and 22nd June, 7 Spanish furniture companies met a group of interior designers and specifiers at the RAITA showroom in Volgograd, Russia. Main aim of this promotion act, organized by ANIEME (Spanish Association of Furniture Manufacturers and Exporters) in collaboration with IVEX (Valencian Foreign Trade Institute), was to promote Spanish high-end furniture brands and strenghten collaborations with local operators. The workshop was followed by a party and a show that close the first day of the event.

Participants expressed their satisfaction with the event and showed great interest in the made in Spain furnishing offer. The full event was covered by the local press and media.

Kazakhstan, great success for Spanish furniture companies in Almaty and Astana

With a diverse furnishing and decorative offer, in classic and  avant-garde style for indoor, outdoor and contract use,  10 Spanish furnishing companies participated on a trade mission to Kazahstan in June  from 10th to 15th. Main objective of the trade mission  was to promote in the Kazakh market the variety and differentiating values of MUEBLE DE ESPAÑA as well as strenghten business contacts with local importers and specifiers. Spanish forward-thinking designs have landed in Washington, at Jaleo Restaurant

We dare say that Spanish design has no boundaries and this is so true that you can experience a great deal of that in downtown Washington D.C., at Jaleo, the newly redesigned restaurant created by famed chef José Andrés with his partners, Rob Wilder and Roberto Alvarez. Jaleo D.C. features sleek furnishing and artworks created in Spain by some of the country’s most renowned contemporary designers.

Spain’s furniture keeps on growing during 2012 first trimester

From January to March 2012, Spanish furniture exports have increased by 5,7, amounting to 337 million euros. An encouraging results for the Spanish furniture industry if we consider the drop in domestic consumer demand. EU countries maintain their leading position among major Spain’s furniture purchasers with France ranking first. Exports to Russia have picked up again, but positive results have been registered in other main markets, such as the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland and Morocco. Read more…

Spanish exhibitors at Furniture China 2012 in Shanghai

Mueble de España, Furniture from Spain, will again set foot in Asia and strenghten its presence worlwide. 15 Spanish companies are exhibiting in Furniture China, Shanghai, from 11th to 15th September. The International Brand Hall, in pavilion W1, is the location chosen by our companies to exhibit the best of its collections. Spain, together with France, Belgium, Portugal and Italy among other top European sellers are part of the trade show in W1.

BECARA’S furniture and decorative objects feature in the last issue of the Italian Le Nozze Magazine

The showroom of Becara Barcelona proved to be a perfect setting for a photoshoot on new Italian high end bridal collections for 2012. Enrique Cherubini of the Muse Industry Agency collaborated with Ramón Albà, designer at Becara Barcelona, to create a stylish and glamorous ambience for the precious wedding dresses presented in the 1º semester issue of the Italian Le Nozze Magazine.
